Dear colleagues!
On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees we are honored to invite you to participate in the X International Symposium on Littorinid Biology and Evolution (X ISOLBE). The Symposium will be held at Saint-Petersburg State University on July 24-29, 2011. X ISOLBE is organized with the assistance of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Institute of Cytology and Zoological Institute).
Current meeting is going to be special because ISOLBE is celebrating its 10th anniversary. We are very glad that this memorable date will be linked with St Petersburg. Moreover, it is our pleasure to call for participation of all those who have ever attended the Symposium since its establishment in 1986. What a good time and place for a reunion!
The multidisciplinary approach and amiable atmosphere have always been characteristic of the symposium. The current meeting continues the tradition and warmly welcomes the variety of research topics in littorinid biology and evolution, as well as works on related marine mollusks.
We look forward to seeing you in St. Petersburg and hope that your both scientific and cultural experience will be unforgettable!
